Qualified Appraisal Reviews with Meador Group, Inc

According to a statement by the Federal Reserve, "financial institutions must have effective, objective real estate appraisal and evaluation plans," and that appraisers performing reviews must "have the knowledge and skills to assess compliance with the Federal Reserves appraisal regulations and guidelines." At Meador Group, Inc, we provide appraisal review services that are independent, expert, professional and in accordance with the Federal Reserve's rules.

If you're in the need of a real estate appraisal review or have questions in reference to an appraisal, call Meador Group, Inc today.

Appraisal reviews "should find out whether the appraisal or evaluation is applicable for the transaction, the uncertainty of the transaction, and whether the manners by which the collateral valuation is obtained ensures independence and quality," the Federal Reserve says. They "must also announce whether the appraisal or evaluation report is even with the engagement letter, which sets forth the range of the appraisal assignment." Lastly, the Federal Reserve says that "some financial institutions add routine reviews with post-funding assessments of appraisal quality for some of their higher-liability or higher-value dealings as a method to aid in revealing valuation concerns."

In addition to conforming our work to the practices and guidelines of our review clients, there are four Fannie Mae forms that are normally used for review services, and we'll formulate an appraisal review on any of them. They include an appraisal "desk" review, a "field" review, a "short" form and a "narrative" form. Here at Meador Group, Inc, we are experienced in all types of appraisal reviews, review practices and the requirements of review appraisers.
