If you have questions about an appraisal, or if you need a real estate appraisal review, call Meador Group, Inc today.

Appraisal reviews "have to conclude whether the appraisal or evaluation is appropriate for the transaction, the uncertainty of the transaction, and whether the practices by which the collateral valuation is collected ensures independence and quality," the Federal Reserve says. They "must also demonstrate whether the appraisal or evaluation report is compatible with the engagement letter, which sets forth the range of the appraisal assignment." Last, The Federal Reserve says that "some institutions reinforce periodic reviews with post-funding surveys of appraisal quality for a few of their higher-liability or large-value contracts as a control to help in revealing valuation complications."

In addition to adjusting our work to the processes and guidelines of our review clients, there are four Fannie Mae forms that are normally used for review services, and we'll formulate an appraisal review on any of them. They include an appraisal "desk" review, a "field" review, a "short" form and a "narrative" form. Here at Meador Group, Inc, we are trained in every type of appraisal review, review procedure and the requirements of review appraisers.

Meador Group, Inc understands what the most common deficiencies are, specifically in our home market. We also know what constitutes a quality appraisal.
